The email begging for money for Obama

So a long time ago The Handbook signed up for the Obama email mailing letter, cause well frankly I wanted to see what kind of crap they sent out to try to get money from people, yesterday one came in that talking about how Romney out gained him last month. This is the first time since 2007 that the Messiah has been beaten by an opponent at fundraising. Needless to say they are not happy about this.

Friend --

Yesterday we found out Mitt Romney and the Republican Party outraised us for the first time in this election.

In fact, it's the first time that the Obama organization has been outraised by an opponent since 2007.

If you just want to cut to the chase, here's the link where you can donate to Barack Obama now:

https://donate.barackobama.com/May-Numbers

Now, here are a few things you should know about this race in the aftermath of yesterday's news:

-- We are not guaranteed to win this election. If there's anyone still out there acting like we have this thing in the bag, do me a favor and tell them they're dead wrong.

-- Now that Mitt Romney has locked up his party's nomination, yesterday's numbers are only the beginning. The Republican big-dollar donors and special-interest cash will only keep coming out of the woodwork, lining up to support him.

-- The $76 million the Romney campaign and Republican Party raised in May doesn't even take into consideration the additional $75+ million that right-wing ideologues and corporate interests have already spent on ads attacking Obama. (Those groups plan to spend $1 billion when it's all said and done.)

If you're ready to do something right now, then help send a clear signal to the folks on the other side that our base of grassroots supporters will match them.

We may have been outraised this time around, but we won't be outhustled.

So there is only right wing special interest money and big donors according to Obama. Regular people like you and me apparently could never actually donate to a crack pot such as Romney. Of course most of Obama's small donors are playing this year so maybe since they aren't getting much money from small donors they think Romney isn't either.

I assume the 75 million that is spent by "right wing ideologues and corporate interests is the Super PAC constantly telling the American people the truth about the One, but notice they don't like the idea of a Billion being spent against them. But wasn't that their goal at the beginning of this? To raise a billion to be able to clobber any opponent by sheer outspending? Seem to remember reading that some where.

Oh yeah, it was here, and here, and here.

I'm sure there are more, but frankly I have a life and if I linked to every story about that, well I'm pretty sure I would be here all day.
