Issa to Obama: You're a Liar or a Criminal, which one is it?

So according to the letter that Darrel Issa sent to Barack Obama, Obama is either a liar or a criminal. Issa notes that either Obama is lying about no one in the upper echelons of the Executive branch being part of Fast and Furious or he is obstructing a Congressional investigation. Either way it would appear that they will not be trading Christmas cards this year.
In a letter obtained by the Daily Caller Issa makes some rather direct accusations.

“[Y]our privilege assertion means one of two things,” Issa wrote to the president in a letter dated June 25. “Either you or your most senior advisors were involved in managing Operation Fast & Furious and the fallout from it, including the false February 4, 2011 letter provided by the attorney general to the committee, or, you are asserting a presidential power that you know to be unjustified solely for the purpose of further obstructing a congressional investigation.”

So Obama were you lying then or are you lying now? Personally I think it's wonderful. Then there is this little tidbit from the meeting with Holder.

The letter also shed new light on details of the Issa-Holder meeting last week. During that meeting, Issa told Obama that Holder said he wanted to “buy peace.”
“He indicated a willingness to produce the ‘fair compilation’ of post-February 4th documents,” Issa wrote to the president. “He told me that he would provide the ‘fair compilation’ of documents on three conditions: (1) that I permanently cancel the contempt vote; (2) that I agree the department was in full compliance with the committee’s subpoenas, and; (3) that I accept the ‘fair compilation,’ sight unseen.”

So basically I want all this to go away because it's making me look bad and I need you to cower under your desk and just admit that I didn't break any laws. Oh and you never get to see any of the information before you make that public and final.

Excuse me a minute. Did Holder actually think that Issa was going to buy off on this? Seriously? The man has been looking to nail you for over a year and you think you can bully him into doing what you want? Wow the level of audacity in this administration is simply breath taking.

Had Issa actually taken that deal it would have been a slap to the face of the families of Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata. The fact that Holder actually thought he would even ask for that should be grounds to have him removed from office immediately.
